Mr. Kenji Chiba, Chibaki-ya


Born in Kesennuma-shi, Miyagi. The youngest son of 4 brothers. After graduated from Yokohama College of commerce, he began to learn in a famous Japanese restaurant “Zakuro”. After having been promoted to a head chef in this “Zakuro”, to “Ginzaejima”. He mastered the Japanese cuisine; he had extended its business to Ramen Industry, in his forties. The current president of the Nippon Ramen Association. As of April, 2013, he opened three store “Chibaki-ya”, 1 store “Kamomeshokudo”, and “Makanai-Kiichi Ginza” in Ginza. As a chef, he was revived the first time in 20 years in Ginza. This “Makanai-Kiichi” is the famous as the restaurant is hard to take the reservation.
