He was born in Kudoyama-cho, Wakayama. The youngest child of five brothers. After graduated from the University, he joined Sumitomo 3M Limited. After 6 years, he was invited by Mr. Ryo Sugano who was his brother; he changed his job in the company of Mr. Ryo as an executive director. He developed “Maharaja” with Mr. Ryo, and become a chain store and created a disco boom in Japan. The established of “syabu Zen” was 1983. Different from “maharaja”, it was brought up the popular store as the second brand.
