He was born in Uonuma-shi, Niigata. After graduated from University of Tokyo, he joined the national railway. he participated in construction of such as the Tohoku Shinkansen, after privatization, he was left with the plan・management of new business such as Hotel Mets. In 2012, he took office as the president of JR East Food Business Co.,Ltd.. With activation of “EKINAKA”, he is working on growth of the high restaurant business of the quality which is not to depend on the location “the station”.
