He was born in Kagurazaka, Tokyo. He intended to be a chef at 16 years old; he has spent to learn at many famous stores. For 3 years, he has stayed in China; he performed the cultivation of the basil and investigated a cooking by original technique there. He went back to Japan at 25 years old; he opened “Osteria Lucca” in Daikanyama. In recent years, he pays attention to the food education for the child, and he participates in the teacher of the home economics, and the program that making the school lunch in the elementary school, the junior high school, the school for disabled children and so on.
