His father was a bank clerk; his mother was also ex-bank clerk. The second son of 2 brothers. His brother is an artist. He started a part-time job at a restaurant to learn a trade in Gakushuin University Era. Therefore he was interested in food and drinking, he dropped out a University in one and a half years. He joined the company which a store ran plural bars, he became a bartender. On November 1, 1997, he has taken over a store from the company and became independent.
