Mr. Shigetoshi Umeno, UMENOHANA Co., Ltd

He is from Yame-shi, Fukuoka. After graduated from Kurume Commercial High School, he did not enter the University and joined the major car factory. However he quitted in 3 months. He aspired to the independence by food business at 19 years old, but he repeated a change of job without lasting long even if he went to wherever. At the 25 years old, he became independent in 1976. He opened a store specializing in crab dishes “Kanishige” in Kurume-shi. In 1986 of 10 years later, he opened which becomes the present base in same Kurume-shi. The powerful attack continued, in 1999, he was over-the-counter publicly traded. He achieved 2 copies of Tokyo Stock Exchange presentation in 2002. As of September 30, 2010, the number of the stores is 238 stores.
