Born in Kuwana-shi, Mie. Father who became the president later for the 5th generation bore a part of the well-established management of the well-known store “Kakiyasu Honten” of the establishment of a business in 1971. He went to Tokyo at the age of 10 years old for the Kanto area advance of “Kakiyasu Honten” in the whole family. He grew up while being puzzled over the difference in words, difference in life and entered Keio University. After then, he went to the University at New York, but he was persuaded by the 4th generation president of his uncle and came back to Japan and joined “Kakiyasu Honten”. He worked his way up the field and took office as the president for the 6th generation in 2006. he brilliantly controlled while food stores in basement of a department store became boom and competition of the side dish business that was one of the main business intensified and he made the position of the well-known store more firm not to mention side dish business in meat business, restaurant business, food business, all.
