He was born as the eldest son of a ninth generation store owner long-established high-class Japanese restaurant “Minokichi” in Kyoto. The boy who did it youngest, and stood in the kitchen of “Minokichi” with the history more than 50 years, after graduated from Ritsumeikan University, he studied abroad to San Francisco, the United State. In a hotel restaurant college, he learned service and the management. After came back, he launched a family restaurant with the goal of a big chain based on the food industry on the United States, but he had promoted a shift to quality again to enter the 1990, opened the 20th century the last “Takeshigero” with his father in 1992. Until June, 2012, Including the chairperson of association of Nippon Food, he becomes many important posts, he contribute to development of Kyoto cuisine and the food culture in Japan from the wide range of fields.
