He was born among a Japanese mother and Chen Kenmin said to be the father of Sichuan cuisine of japan. Since he was a child, to see a back of father, he yearned for cook. After graduated from Tokyo Chinese School and Tamagawa Academy & University Faculty of Letters Department of Britain and the United States literature, he began the training of Sichuan cuisine in earnest under his father Kenmin. He appeared to “Iron Chef” televised from 1993 and became the person of the topic in living room. Incidentally, he has the record of winning streak to 17. At the present, he coaches the younger generation as owner chef of the group of SZECHWAN RESTAURANT.
