He was born in Himakajima, Minamichita-cho, Chita-gun, and Aichi. The eldest son of three brothers. He spent at Himakajima until high school, after graduating; he joined a soba restaurant of Nagoya. He returned to Himakajima again after 2 years, and found his job. He was selected as auberge manager. He became independent in 1997, opened toritoritei 1st store at Handa-shi.
